RP1 Insect Stop Spray

Boots RP1 Insect Stop is a highly effective insect repellent with active tick and insect protection in accordance with the biocide regulations. The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odorless to us humans and does not bother humans or horses with an unpleasant smell. Insects, on the other hand, perceive smells through their sensors and are deterred by the repellent.

When Boots RP1 Insect Stop is applied to the fur, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective cloud of scent that can last for several hours. In addition, the active ingredient Icaridin® is very well tolerated by the skin and is therefore also suitable for riders.

To use the repellents correctly, it is very important to apply them correctly and over the entire area: the combination of spray and gel achieves maximum effectiveness with minimal consumption. The spray is used for large areas, while the gel is used for targeted application under the stomach and for the sensitive areas on the head.
